Throughout history, great artists have expressed human experience in a universal language of form and beauty. The Montblanc Masters of Art Collection pays homage to their eternal contribution to the search for perfection in art: a research that Montblanc has always promoted and celebrates. Pierre-Auguste Renoir is one of the precursors of more prominent modernism, whose sunny paintings have laid the foundations of an entire movement: impressionism. Handing homage with respect the pioneering work of this illustrious French impressionist, Montblanc created Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir Limited Edition 4810. As to immortalize the presence of Renoir, the edition is made of olive wood and smeared with painting as if it had been torn directly from the artist's hand. The same painter would probably not have chosen any other wood, since he loved the old olive trees in his garden in the south of France, to whom he had dedicated many paintings. Renoir captured fleeting moments and translated them on canvas using bright colors and quick brushstrokes. An intriguing detail is the finishing clip now in the shape of two brushes, such as those used by Renoir to create both the finest details and the largest surfaces of its masterpieces. The upper part of the hood is decorated with a precious overseas blue resin surrounding the Montblanc emblem. The ring on the upper part of the hood bears the engraving 1874, the year of the first exhibition of this new generation of artists, the impressionists. 1874 therefore marks the birth of impressionism as a movement in its own right. The delicate folding range with two nappes that adorns the massive gold nib 750 made by hand is a tribute to the meaning of the fan, an accessory that appears in many works of Renoir, especially in many of its perspective portraits of women. In homage to the painter's ability in the gold finish cone, a silver tip in delicate Sterling AG 925 silver is integrated, which allows you to make sketches with silver tip.
